Is It Just Me?

If your internet has stopped working and no outage is listed above:

  1. Check your power. Make sure your modem/router and nbn connection box are switched on and their lights are on.

  2. Restart your equipment. Turn off your modem/router and nbn connection box, wait 30 seconds, then turn them back on. Allow up to 5 minutes to reconnect.

  3. Check your cables. Make sure all cables are plugged in firmly.

  4. Check the outage pages below.

  5. Contact us if it’s still not working. Let us know your name, service address, and what lights are showing on your equipment.

Gidgee Networks delivers your service over the nbn network, using infrastructure from our upstream provider, Leaptel. You can check their outage information directly:

These pages are run by those providers, not Gidgee Networks. They might list outages that don’t affect you, or not yet show one that does. If your service is down and you’re unsure, contact us.

How We’ll keep you informed

If a major or significant outage affects your service, we will:

  • Send you an SMS and email as soon as we’re notified

  • Post updates on this page and our Facebook page

  • Keep you updated at least every 6 hours for the first 24 hours, then at least daily, until the outage is fixed

  • Let you know when your service is restored

Please make sure we have your current mobile number. If your internet is down, SMS is often the only way we can reach you.

Outages caused by natural disasters can take longer to fix, and access to affected areas may be limited. We’ll post what information we have here.
